The Crowley Group Welcomes New President of Florida Operations
THE CROWLEY GROUP, ST AUGUSTINE, FL -
The Crowley Group, a leading real estate development company specializing in multi-family housing communities, proudly announces the hiring Mr. Dan Crowley as its new President of Florida Operations.
Mr. Crowley will manage The Crowley Group's Florida operations, which include ongoing projects at The Legends at Saint Johns and Legacy Trail - the developer's two luxury condominium communities within the World Golf Village.
Originally from New York, Mr. Crowley has a long and proven track record within the construction industry in Florida - extending to virtually every major city in the state. He brings over 30 years of relevant experience and knowledge to his new position with specialized expertise in general contracting, construction management, project controls, project management, and dispute resolution. Mr. Crowley's experience extends to computerized delay and schedule analysis, time impact analysis, damage and impact cost calculations, project planning and management. He is also a recognized expert witness in numerous judicial proceedings in both national and international venues.
Prior to joining The Crowley Group, Crowley was employed by a major international construction firm as project engineer, project controls manager, and contract manager. He was responsible for project engineering during the construction of a Fortune 500 corporate headquarters, project controls and contract manager for power generation facilities and GSA administered construction programs. Previously, Mr. Crowley served as Executive Vice President and Vice President of international project controls and dispute resolution firms where he participated in the analysis and settlement of construction disputes worldwide. Crowley also performed project controls and schedule development for both private and government contracts, domestically and internationally.
Crowley has earned several education degrees including his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The Citadel (South Carolina), Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Missouri (Missouri), and Master of Science Degree in Production and Safety Management from Central Missouri State University (Missouri).
Crowley is an ongoing member of the American Association of Cost Engineers, the Construction Management Association of America, and the Construction Financial Management Association. He has also authored numerous professional articles on construction management and project controls and speaks frequently about the respective topics at venues nationwide.
